Technical seminars to help design engineers.
Throughout the year DAPC presents and participants in technical papers on a wide variety of industry topics. We offer a series of seminars that were created to assist design engineers. We realize that you are challenged with the entire printed circuit board. Our goal is to make the foundation of your design, the PCB board, easy and seamless.
The following educational oriented presentations are available via webcast or we can visit you facility for engineering team of (5) or more. Stay tuned to our website for posting of free (1) hour online sessions.
Topics Available
- Course PCB01:
Introduction to Printed Circuit Boards
PCB01 is a basic background education on issues revolving around the basic concepts of multilayer PCB design. Topics from materials to testing are addressed in this session. This course is designed for engineers and technicians who design and work with PCBs.
- Course DFM02:
Design for Manufacturability
DAPC has a wide range of manufacturing capabilities. Our competence in fabrication and design assistance is shared in this session. Design tools and engineering reference materials are provided in this session.
- Course RWPC01:
Designing PCBs to meet RoHS and WEEE requirements
The European Union (EU) has legislated some very strict requirements for the manufacturing of electronic components and devices. Although these standards do not apply to the Americas they do impact companies that hope to export products to Europe or in some case Asian countries like Japan who have enacted similar legislation. Many companies are automatically designing their electronics to RoHS and WEEE standards to avoid two part numbers for the same product. This course assists an engineering in understanding the basics of the RoHS and WEEE legislation and how it Impacts design. We also share the materials and design consideration when specifying and designing a lead free printed circuit boards
